Most servo problems fit into one of four major categories. Chose the category that best represents the problem you are considering. Remember, consider one problem at a time until all the identified problems have been characterized.
Accuracy problems are those problems related to when the load position (or speed) does not adequately follow the command. They may occur while the motor is at rest or moving.
Noise problems are those problems related to when the motor or load generates excessive audible noise.
Slow response problems are characterized by sluggish response to commmands.
Instability problems are problems where the motor or load responds with excessive overshoot, ringing, or self-sustained oscillations.
